BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — New York Governor Andrew Cuomo tweeted a message to Buffalo and Western New York residents Tuesday, urging them to "mask up."
"Residents of Buffalo and Western NY:
The infection rate in your region is higher than in the rest of the state.
Wear a mask to protect yourself and reduce your risk to exposure.
#MaskUp"

In response to the increased infection rate in the WNY region, the state opened eight additional rapid testing sites.
