NEW YORK (WKBW) — Governor Andrew Cuomo announced Sunday that employers will be responsible for supplying essential employees with masks.
Cuomo issued an executive order "directing employers to provide essential workers with cloth or surgical masks free of charge to wear when directly interacting with the public."
The governor also issued an executive order regarding antibody tests.
During Sunday's briefing, the governor also stated that the death rate due to COVID-19 is flattening, although 758 people died Saturday, which is the sixth day in a row that the numbers of deaths topped 700.
