BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — M&T Bank will temporarily pause construction projects, including the Tech Hub at Seneca One in Buffalo, according to a spokesperson with the company. This is in response to the global coronavirus pandemic.
According to a statement issued by the company, M&T remains committed to its vision for Seneca One, adding that construction will resume as soon as it is deemed safe for workers to return to the site.
When plans were first released in June of last year, M&T said the company was looking to relocate 1,000 employees to Seneca One by 2020 and more than 1,500 over the next three years after signing a long term lease for the site.
