BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) — The International Olympic Committee is debating a postponement of the 2020 summer games in Tokyo, but not a cancellation.
Organizers are also looking into whether the Olympics can start in July as planned, but with certain modifications.
They say they want to be fair to athletes who've spent years training for the games, and to ticket holders who already paid for their trips, but they say the health of everyone involved is the biggest priority.
A final decision is expected in the next 2 to 4 weeks.
