BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) — It was a big moment for a COVID-19 patient at St. Joseph Hospital in Cheektowaga on Sunday.
That person became the 100th patient to be discharged after beating the virus.
The staff clapped and played the song, Don't Stop Believin' by Journey as the patient left the hospital.
The discharge ceremony has been an ongoing scene at the former hospital, which opened on March 26 as Western New York's only fully dedicated facility for the treatment of Coronavirus.
