BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW-TV) — This is normally the busiest time of the year for vendors at the Broadway Market and for businesses that sell Polish Easter foods in the surrounding neighborhoods.

And while the market remains open six days a week with its year-round vendors, the COVID-19 outbreak will keep many people from making their traditional trek to the East Side landmark.

But you can still get your favorite Broadway Market products without leaving your home.

For $80, you can purchase a "Polish Easter Box" full of several favorites such as Famous Broadway Market Horseradish, Chrusciki, a Malczewski butter lamb, bread, and various types of pierogi and sausage.

The idea is being led by Robin Reynolds at Pizza by Molino's, along with several other businesses, who wanted to help Broadway Market vendors and their customers during the public health emergency.

Orders are being taken now for the boxes, which will be ready for curbside pickup on the Saturday before Easter (Holy Saturday) at Wiechec's Lounge, 1748 Clinton Street in Buffalo.

Pizza by Molino's is accepting orders (cash preferred) through its Facebook page. Click here to get contact information.

As of now, the effort is limited to 300 boxes, but that could change if demand exceeds that amount.

The Broadway Market is also reminding people that many of its vendors offer online ordering with curbside pickup. Contact the Broadway Market management office for more information.
