Buffalo Police are seeing an increase in package theft complaints that they believe is connected to the COVID-19 pandemic.
As deliveries of essential items surge, police say people are leaving their packages on their porches longer than usual and that is leaving them open to larcenies.
If you are expecting a package, you are asked to periodically check top see if it has been delivered to minimize the possibility of having your package snatched or ask a neighbor to retrieve it until you can return home.
