BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Buffalo Central Labor Council and Western New York Area Labor Federation announced Tuesday the annual Labor Day Parade in Buffalo has been canceled.
"We do with great reluctance but, see no better way to keep ourselves and the general public safe from this horrendous disease," a release states.
In its place a car caravan event is being organized. On September 7 the caravan will drive through several working-class neighborhoods.
Officials say more information will be provided when details are finalized.
