BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Buffalo Junior Sabres hockey team has announced that all team activities for the next two weeks will be shut down following positive COVID-19 cases among several players and parents.

"Following positive tests among several players and parents, the Buffalo Junior Sabres are shutting down all team activities for the next 14 days. We are making this decision out of an abundance of caution and encourage all our players and families to follow the CDC COVID guidelines, along with the instructions from the Erie County Health Department."

The Junior Sabres operate independently of the Buffalo Sabres and Pegula Sports and Entertainment.
