EAST AURORA, N.Y. (WKBW) — Like all movie theaters in New York, the Aurora Theatre was closed by a state mandate in an effort to stop the spread of COVID-19, but that hasn't stopped the Theatre from spreading some fun across Western New York in the mean time.
Last week, instead of the latest Hollywood blockbuster the marquee read "Now showing nothing, starring nobody."

Pictures of the lighthearted message went viral across Western New York and now you can help choose the next message to make your neighbors smile.
There are now eight different marquee messages that the public can vote on and the winning message will make it onto the theater's marquee.

All of the messages that you can vote on were submitted by the public. The Aurora Theatre's owners hope the contest provides a fun distraction for the public during these difficult times.
