LEWISTON, N.Y. (WKBW) — Artpark has announced a series of drive-in style film and movie nights as a social distancing alternative to the many concerts canceled at the park throughout the summer.
Replacing the park's well-known Tuesdays in the Park concert series will be showings of music related feature films.
On Thursday nights movies that appeal to the whole family will be screened.
Two screens will be positioned in parking Lot D, the large lot nearest South 4th Street accommodating up to 200 cars. A VIP screen will be set in the Painted Parking Lot accommodating up to 50 cars. Tickets will cost $25 per car, which includes $8 admission and a $17 concession credit. Audio for the movies will be transmitted via FM radio, like a drive-in movie theater.
The following movies have been announced with more dates to be added throughout the summer:
June 25 at 7pm - School of Rock
June 30 at 8pm - The Blues Brothers
