Western New York warms up Thursday, but Friday goes way beyond 'bad hair day!'

Thursday
Nature warms it up again with partly cloudy skies and a light breeze.  Only about 20% chance of a shower in the afternoon..

Low: 58F

Friday
Here's where things get interesting. Your Friday morning starts off breezy and warm. We'll go beyond 'bad had day' criteria Friday afternoon and evening. Areas along the shores of Lake Erie can expect gusts over 50 mph. That will be more than enough to toss around any loose decorations and trash cans left unattended.

As for the storms, you won't need the rain gear until late Friday afternoon and evening. That's when a line of heavy downpours and gusty storms will move through ahead of a strong cold front. The storms will be out of the area late Friday night into early Saturday morning.

Low: 70

Saturday
It'll feel and look like football weather out there. A mix of sun and clouds with temperatures in the mid 60s.

High: 63
Low: 51
