Convicted sex attacker Barry Hollis has been sentenced to 12 years behind bars for assaulting an 8-year-old girl at Martin's Fantasy Island in June 2014 and raping a 14-year-old girl at Hamburg Beach in 2013.

Hollis was sentenced in front of Erie County Judge Thomas Franczyk Monday afternoon.

Judge Franczyk told Hollis that he doesn't feel that he will ever "change his stripes," adding that he feels Hollis' tendency to act as a pedophile is part of how he is "hardwired."

The father of the now 9-year-old girl, says his family has lived in an emotional hell, since she was attacked in June, by 36-year-old Hollis.

"Just when you try to forget about it, boom, something else comes up. Try to forget about it, boom sentencing comes up," the father said.

Hollis sexually abused the girl on the Crazy Mouse roller coaster while he was sitting next to her on the horseshoe shaped car, but got away after the attack. He was picked from a line up and arrested.

About two months after the Fantasy Island attack, a 14-year-old girl went to police, after seeing Hollis on the news. Hollis raped her twice in the Hamburg Beach parking lot, last summer. He also pleaded guilty to those charges.

Following his 12 year sentence, the judge has ordered 15 years of supervised release.
