I.T. crews are now assessing the damage after a computer virus hit the Trott Access Center in Niagara County.

County officials say computers at the campus were taken off-line due to the attack late Wednesday and some government services will be unavailable for the next 24 hours.

The campus, on 11th Street, has offices for Public Health, Mental Health, Probation, Employment & Training Departments as well as a DMV branch. We're told the DMV was not impacted by the attack.

We're told at no time was personal information in danger of being accessed by the breach.

As a result, the Department of Public Health has canceled the STD clinic planned for Thursday.  The regular STD clinic schedule will resume next week.

Anyone with questions or concerns about accessing Health Department Services can call 716-278-1900.

According to county officials, the Mental Health Department, the Department of Employment & Training, and Probation will continue to provide full services.
