Assemblyman Sean Ryan and members of the Elmwood Village community sad down and discussed concerns about development in the popular neighborhood for the second time. Some people calling for a moratorium on proposals until new changes to the Green Code official go into effect.
This "time out" would prevent proposals from falling into action and demand they adhere to the newly adopted code.
The new Green Code calls for a downgrade in development from a five story building to a three story building. Assemblyman Ryan says, this change is consistent with the culture of the historic village.
