Community Beer Works headed south to "Music City," Nashville, Tennessee, for the World Beer Cup and returned with a bronze award.

The World Beer Cup gave awards in 101 beer-style categories at their award ceremony Thursday and Community Beer Works was awarded bronze in the Historical Beer style category.

The award winning brew was its "Pantomime Horse," a strong dark ale with notes of raisin, dark fruit, sour cherry and light oak.

"Our talented team of brewers crafted a unique and complex beer that earned one of the most respected awards in our industry. We're proud of the beer and the team who made it and we thank the Brewers Association for the recognition." said Chris Smith, Co-Founder and VP at Community Beer Works.

The World Beer Cup, also referred to as the "Olympics of Beer," had over 8,000 entries from over 2,000 breweries in 66 countries. The winners were selected by an international panel of 295 judges from 33 countries.
