A Colorado man has pleaded guilty to making numerous telephone threats to the faculty, staff and security personnel at a western New York college.

The U.S. Attorney's Office says 32-year-old Benjamin Bolton of the Denver suburb of Glendale pleaded guilty Tuesday in federal court in Buffalo to transmitting interstate communications containing threats to injure people.

Prosecutors say Bolton was a graduate student at Buffalo State College when he was suspended in April 2014 after several incidents at the school, including disputes with faculty members.

During a year-long span ending in August 2015, Bolton made numerous threatening phone calls to faculty and staff at the college as well as to the school's police department.

Bolton is scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 19.
