Collins staff changes website after questions from 7EWN

Following an inquiry from 7 Eyewitness News, information on the the official website for Congressman Collins has been removed.

A Twitter user pointed out that as of mid-December, Collins' website still listed him as a current member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee and 3 subcommittees. In August, House Speaker Paul Ryan removed Collins from that committee after Collins was indicted for insider trading.

7 Eyewitness News reached out to representatives for Congressman Collins for clarification on the incorrect information on the website Tuesday morning. While no response came back, we checked the website Tuesday afternoon and references to the Energy and Commerce Committee have now been removed.
