Jamestown's Metro Drug Task Force seized more than $20,000 and 3/4 of a pound of cocaine during searches Monday afternoon.

Police conducted two search warrants on Work Street in the Village of Falconer.  They recovered the drugs, cash, a stolen pistol and brass knuckles.  Two men were arrested following the execution of the search warrants.

Demario Chatmon, 38, is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance after police say they found more than 9 oz. of crack cocaine and cash in his apartment.  He's also charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon.  Police say the gun they found had been stolen in Erie, PA.

Police also arrested 39-year-old Damien Thomas.  They say he had two oz. of cocaine and more than 3 oz. of marijuana in his possession.  He's also charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Investigators also impounded two cars being used by the men, and say they will be searched as well.
