Climb grain silos and soar over Buffalo Riverworks this summer

Posted at 4:19 AM, Jun 07, 2018

Buffalo Riverworks is more than just an event space and restaurant now...it's also an adventure park!

You can zipline from the tallest Labatt Blue six-pack to the upstairs patio. The trip starts you 100 feet in the air. There are four separate ziplines connecting three abandoned grain silos. Tours of six people at a time will head out on a tour through the day, led by two Riverworks adventure guides.

You can zipline daily from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Reservations are required. It costs $40 per person, or $200 for a "six-pack".

Brand new this week, Riverworks has unveiled a two-story ropes course over the ice rinks. Hooked in for continuous safety, you're tethered to the line from start to finish. Walk over wobbly bridges, climb over chain swings and balance on a beam 50 feet off the ground!

Riverworks has also transformed grain silos into rock walls, letting you climb up 50 feet to the top. There are also less challenging walls so your entire family can take advantage of the fun.

Adding to the activities, Riverworks is also planning to launch tiki boat tours. The boats will have a thatched roof, a full bar and a sound system!
