BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) — Civil rights leader Reverend Jesse Jackson is now out of the hospital after surgery.
The Rainbow Push Coalition says he is now at a rehabilitation center in Chicago.
Jackson was admitted to Northwestern Memorial Hospital for abdominal discomfort on January 29.
The coalition said, because of his parkinson's disease, he will stay at the rehab center for a short time for exercise and therapy before he heads home.
Jackson is said to be in good spirits and is continuing his civil rights work.
