The Broadway Barn in Buffalo is ready for the wicked weather ahead.
Officials said they have 4,000 tons of salt ready for use with about 7,000 tons in reserve. The 75 snow plows have been inspected and new equipment has been attached to make the clean up more efficient.
There are eight brand new plows. All trucks contain a GPS program that inform crews about which roads are plowed and which are not.
City officials also said that drivers can do their part by not parking on the road. The restrictions say no parking from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m. With this much snow, officials encourage people to keep their cars off the street completely, if possible.
The City of Buffalo Public Works Department officials assure the public they are ready for whatever Mother Nature has in store. They said they will clear the roads as efficiently as possible.
