The City of Buffalo has begun its 2019 home reassessment project.

The Department of Assessment and Taxation is leading the project, which is the first city-wide assessment since 2001. It has sent out mailers to residents, asking for their assistance in confirming property inventory data.

Residents are asked to review the details of their property using the City of Buffalo Online Assessment Roll System, and make any necessary changes by clicking the Inventory Change button. Residents can also note any discrepancies on the Property Inventory Survey that comes with the mailer, and send it back to the assessment office.

The office asking residents to complete this process by September 8. The 2019 Assessment Roll will be finalized on March 1, 2019.

For any questions regarding a change of inventory, you can reach the office by phone at 716-249-6773, or by email at COBReval@city-buffalo.com.
