BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) - The City of Buffalo has begun its 2019 home reassessment project.
The Department of Assessment and Taxation is leading the project, which is the first city-wide assessment since 2001. It has sent out mailers to residents, asking for their assistance in confirming property inventory data.

Residents can also note any discrepancies on the Property Inventory Survey that comes with the mailer, and send it back to the assessment office.
The office asking residents to complete this process by September 8. The 2019 Assessment Roll will be finalized on March 1, 2019.
