The Restore New York Communities Initiative has awarded the City of Batavia and its Ellicott Station Project $500,000.
The Batavia Development Corporation was recently given $1.9 million through the the Restore New York Communities Initiative too.
Restore New York Communities Initiative financially assists towns and cities for their revitalization of commercial and residential properties.
The city of Batavia secured the award due to the demolition and rehabilitation of Ellicott Station to create a mixed-use facility.
