The Walden Galleria was not as busy as Black Friday, but instead of fighting crowds, the shoppers were fighting the clock, trying to get those last few gifts before Christmas.
But for Marc Hurst, he needed to get the last few, and the first few, and the middle few gifts as well. He waited until Christmas Eve to do all his holiday shopping.
"I have to buy for about five people still. My mom, my dad, my sister, my girlfriend's two sisters, and her mom. So that's six," Hurst said.
7 Eyewitness News followed Hurst around the Walden Galleria for a good part of Christmas Eve, as he visited several stores on the hunt for all the people on his list.
So why did he wait so long to shop? He was busy getting engaged.
"I'm not buying her anything for the next three Christmases, so I'm good with that," he joked.
A half dozen stores and about an hour and a half later, he was finally done.
"End of the day, thank God I got all my shopping done. I have to go home, shower, and get ready, we have dinner at 3:30. So God bless those that last minute shop," Hurst said.
