Volunteer firefighters in Clarence attended to a structure fire Sunday evening.
East Amherst and Swormville fire companies responded to 8360 Clarence Center Road around 6 p.m. and found heavy fire conditions coming from the roof area around the chimney.
The fire was brought under control after 18 minutes later.
The fire is under investigation by the Clarence Fire Inspectors Office and the Erie County Sheriff's Office.
Officials estimate $60,000 in total damages.
