A City of Tonawanda woman, who is a Senior Case Worker with Erie County Children's Services, was charged with DWI after backing up her car into a parked ambulance on a first aid call back in February.

According to police, Tiffany Stein's blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit. However, according to a County representative, she is still driving kids around.

7 Eyewitness News reached out to the representative, who says Stein is still employed by Erie County, and has a valid driver's license. He added that she is still allowed to drive children around as it is part of her job description. Other than that, the County is giving no further comment.

Stein is due back in court in May for a non-jury trial.
