A young child is dead after being hit by a car while riding his bike on Buffalo's lower west side.
Police say this happened late Sunday afternoon near the corner of Busti Avenue and Jersey Street.
The nine year old boy hit by the car was taken to Women and Children's Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police say the driver is cooperating in their investigation, and so far no charges have been filed.
