A child is recovering after being hit by a car while riding a bicycle in the Town of Tonawanda.
Police say the incident happened in the area of Delaware Road and Highland Avenue around 4 p.m. Tuesday.
The girl was taken by ambulance to Children’s Hospital, and is expected to be released in the next couple days.
Police say she was not wearing a helmet.
According to police, the driver did not show any signs of impairment and is not facing charges at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
