The popular fast food chain Chick-fil-A has filed paperwork to locate a franchise on Walden Avenue in Cheektowaga, according to a town council member. The location sits about a half mile from Walden Galleria across the street from the Target Plaza.
The Georgia-based chain is planning to open a location at 1753 Walden Ave and plans to demolish the current Famous Dave's site.
It's not clear how soon Chick-fil-A will open a restaurant at the location, but the company has said it plans to be open for business in WNY sometime in 2018 or 2019.
