Shopping was disrupted at a Target store in Cheektowaga Saturday night.
According to the Cheektowaga Police Department, the store on Walden Avenue received a bomb threat. Police were called to investigate and the store was evacuated. A suspicious device was found in a recycling bin. The Erie County Bomb Squad X-rayed the device and determined it wasn’t explosive.
It’s still unclear who made the threat. It remains under investigation.
