Cheektowaga Police are now on the lookout for a woman they believe was involved in a burglary in which credit cards were stolen from a home.

Police think she broke into a home on Woodridge Avenue on the morning of September 20, taking the cards and later using them in Amherst.

The homeowner was away at the time, but their credit card company called them, warning of some suspicious purchases made with their cards.

When they got home, they found it was burglarized.

Police are now seeking the public's help finding the suspect, who's described as a tall, thin, white woman in her early 20s, with blonde hair.

She was last seen driving a maroon or copper-colored Jeep Wrangler in the Woodridge Avenue area.

Anyone with information that could help police find her is urged to contact Detective Jim Genson at 686-3520, or send an anonymous text to TIP411.
