Cheektowaga homebrew to be featured at the Erie County Fair

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) - A Cheektowaga homebrewer's creation will be featured as the official beer of this year's Erie County Fair.

Homebrewer Kevin DiTondo joined representatives from the Erie County Fair and Flying Bison Brewing Company Tuesday morning as Flying Bison's professional brewmaster began brewing DiTondo's Vienna Lager recipe.

DiTondo's lager was selected as the winner of the 2018 Erie County Fair Home Brewing Competition. His brew was dubbed "Best In Show" and will be ready for public sale and consumption at the fair in August. It will be featured at the fairground's beer gardens during the fair.

Kegged versions of the beer will also be offered by Try-It Distributing to Western New York establishments for public purchase prior to the Fair.
