Update: On Monday, July 16, the body of Timothy Yocum was recovered by divers in Chautauqua Lake, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office.
The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office received a report of a missing boater on Chautauqua Lake Saturday around 5:30 p.m.
Two sheriff's navigational patrol boats responded immediately, the Chautauqua County Water Emergency Team assisted patrol officers on shore, several area fire departments responded and assisted with shore and water searches, and Starflight helicopter searched from the air.
According to the sheriff's office, 47 year-old Timothy Yocum jumped into the water to swim and then went missing.
There will be no charges filed in the incident.
