Charges dropped for Iroquois High School hacker

Posted

Hacking charges against an Iroquois High School student have been dropped, under a few conditions.

As part of the plea agreement, the teen must stay out of trouble for the next six months.  He is also required to perform 100 hours of community service.

The student was facing felony charges for breaking into the school’s computer system earlier this year.  Investigators say he accessed test answers, private emails and security codes.
