The Century Grill held its last hurrah Tuesday night after five years of serving up libations and food to Western New Yorkers and out of town travelers.
Owner Kelly DiDomenico tells 7 Eyewitness News that the bar and grill located on Pearl Street across from the Hyatt Regency Buffalo was asked to shut down by the building's new owner about a month ago.
"It would have been nice to ride out the year. It just didn't work that way," said DiDomenico. "We just celebrated our five year anniversary so we got to have a last hurrah then."
"Its been a beautiful thing and we had a lot of fun. We had a lot of amazing people come through these doors whether they were local or from other states or countries, some celebrities, our friends, our family, all the staff that works here have been stellar and loving and have been apart of my heart," DiDomenico added.
DiDomenico said that she is planning a new venture but is keeping the plans under wraps for now.
