The students at Emerson School of Hospitality are flying high after cooking up a storm with a celebrity chef.
Chef Lizette Lopez De Arriaga, from the show 'Cutthroat Kitchen', was in town on Wednesday to share a few culinary tips. Among the things she worked on with students was the fine art of pizza making. Her visit was also streamed online to share her lesson with kids across the country.
"What's more important is to learn the art of service.", said Chef Lizette. "Which in my mind is the DNA, the heart and soul, of a chef. The culinary skills are secondary but to learn how to serve others is the mark of a great chef."
Chef Lizette has cooked for over 4.5 million people including 5 U.S. Presidents. The Emerson School of Hospitality has two locations. It encompasses a full service restaurant and bakery.
