Catholic Charities of Buffalo launch new fundraising effort

With $1 million to go, the Catholic Charities of Buffalo announced a new one-day fundraising effort scheduled for Friday, June 8th. 

According to the organization, the first $50,000 raised on their community-wide Catholic Charities Day of Giving initiative will be matched dollar-for-dollar Friday. The organization says this is an effort to achieve their goal of raising $11 million before the June 30 deadline. 

According to the Catholic Charities of Buffalo, you can donate to the organization by visiting their website ccwny.org/donate. Funds raised during the Appeal will go to 70 programs and services provided by Catholic Charities throughout Western New York, according to the Catholic Charities of Buffalo.

As of Monday, the organization says they have raised a total of $9.8 million.
