A Cassadaga man is behind bars for allegedly engaging in sexual conduct with a minor.
According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office, 32-year-old Steven Morris Jr. has been charged after sexually assaulting a child under the age of 11 years old.
Authorities say the encounter happened in April of 2017.
Morris was charged with first degree criminal sexual act and predatory sexual assault against a child.
Deputies say he was arraigned in Chautauqua County Court and was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail on bail of $150,000 cash or $300,000 property.
