Three-year-old Jonah DeLang thought it was Christmas morning, not the middle of June, when his dream came true, thanks to the Palace Theater in Hamburg.
The owner of the theater arranged for a special showing of 'Cars 3' on Friday morning even though the new movie doesn't come out until next week.
The man of the hour is a North Collins boy who already fought and beat cancer once, but now it's returned and he faces another long haul of painful treatment at Sloan-Kettering in New York City.
Jonah's parents say it's a true blessing that their son gets to see the latest edition of his favorite movie franchise because he has a weak immune system and can't go to the show with other people around. His parents say any chance to make happy memories for their son is what they strive for, in the hope he can forget about all the bad memories that come from his being ill.
Our thoughts and prayers are now with the DeLang family and we're rooting for little Jonah to get better ASAP!
