Presidential candidate Donald Trump may soon be making a stop in Buffalo for a large free rally open to the public.

Carl Paladino, a well-known Buffalo developer and Board of Education member, tells 7 Eyewitness News he is actively working to organize a free event to be held at the First Niagara Center, or possible at Ralph Wilson Stadium.

Paladino says he's been in contact with the Trump Campaign and they are excited about the idea.

No date has been set but Paladino hopes it can happen before the New York State primaries in April.

Reporter Ed Reilly sat down with Carl Paladino to learn more about his plans.
