A Buffalo woman admits she stole more than $10,000 from an elderly woman in her care.
Michelle Sanders, 47, of Leonard Street, pleaded guilty before State Supreme Court Justice Penny Wolfgang to third-degree grand larceny.
Sanders admits she stole $10,433.50 from October 2015 through February 2016 while serving as a caregiver for a 94-year-old Amherst woman.
Prosecutors say Sanders used the victim's ATM card without her permission to withdraw the money over a span of five months.
Sanders has agreed to pay back all of the stolen money. She faces up to seven years in prison when she is sentenced in October.
