A motor vehicle accident caused downed power lines in Wheatfield Monday morning.
The St. Johnsburg Fire Department responded to the scene of a one-car accident on Errick Road around 5 a.m.

National Grid was also on scene assisting with the downed power lines.
Nearly 700 customers are without power due to the crash, and the estimated restoration time is 7:15 a.m.
No word on injuries or the cause of the crash.
