Dozens of cannabis-infused candy bars were seized at the Peace Bridge, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection Officers.
Officials say the 41 cannabis-laden chocolate bars were found on Tuesday.
CBP Officers working at the bridge's commercial facility found the shipment from Scarborough, Canada, bound for Brooklyn.
The candy, known as ‘Firebars,’ were seized for violations of U.S. law.
Officials say in 2016, the Buffalo Field Office made over 600 narcotic seizures, a 35 percent increase from the prior year.
