Canalside summer events announced

Canalside released its summer programing schedule Thursday morning.  The events include concert fitness events, fun things for kids and families, as well as festivals.

There are a number of new and returning activities for the summer of 2018.  They include:

The 10th anniversary of the restored Erie Canal Harbor 

Canalside's 10 year Birthday Bash

Buffalo on Display - an event with local musicians performing on the boardwalk

Movie Night at Canalside 

Blue Bikes presented by BlueCross BlueShield of WNY

Clinton's Dish will also be expanding this year, and will have a new menu as well as a beer garden that will be tripled in size.

Fitness classes will return to Canalside, presented by BlueCross Blue Shield.  There will be yoga, Zumba, and dance classes, as well as other fitness opportunities.

Children's programming will once again take place with Explore and More Children's Museum, EPIC and the WNY Family Magazine.  There will also be games to rent, and kayaks, water bikes and pedal boats.

Canalside will also have its 4th of July celebrations again this year, which will include fireworks and family fun.
