Canalside steps up security after arrest

If you headed to Canalside for the boardwalk carnival this holiday weekend you may have noticed an increase in security at the popular attraction. The group in charge of Canalside, taking action, after violence erupted late Saturday.

Buffalo Police say 17-year-old Jequan Wilson of Buffalo was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana after a fight broke out near the carnival area on Saturday. 

7 Eyewitness News Reporter Matt Bove went to the waterfront on Monday where the increase in security was noticeable.
