A taxi driver and his three passengers were arrested when police found heroin and cocaine in the car.
Erie County Sheriff's Office says a taxi was stopped for vehicle and traffic violations. When the deputy had the driver, Luis Cedeno, open the rear sliding door the deputy recognized a strong marijuana odor and saw a small bag of heroin on the floor.
In total, deputies found six bags of heroin, some crack cocaine and marijuana.
Officals say the following were arrested and charged:
- Cedeno, 28, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and vehicle and traffic violations.
- Cristalee Carrasquillo (reported girlfriend of the driver), 26, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
- Timothy Nye, 28, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession of a hypodermic instrument and possession of marijuana.
- Joett Fisher (mother of Nye), 47, was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession of a hypodermic instrument and possession of marijuana.
All four people were taken to the Erie County Holding Center and released after posting bail.
