There are many companies in WNY that need snow to make money.  With the snowflakes starting to fall, and more to come, it is good news for several snow-related businesses who remember the back-to-back warm winters from a few years ago.

"Those types of winters can really kill you,' said Tom Koenig at Schaub Equipment in West Seneca.  Schaub sells and services snowblowers.

This year, the first major snow event of the season is happening about a month earlier than it did in 2017.

7 Eyewitness News Reporter Ed Reilly spent the day traveling across our region to see how the snow was impacting Fox Tire in Buffalo, Schaub Equipment in West Seneca and the Colden Ski & Board Shop near Kissing Bridge.
