Plans for the former Westwood Country Club are moving forward.
The Amherst Town Council voted Monday night to move forward with an environmental study.
Developers are looking to transform the old golf course into a mixed-use development, with residential buildings and commercial space.
Some are worried it will cause more traffic issues and want the land to be made into a park.
