ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WKBW) - Saturday morning at Ralph Wilson Stadium, the Buffalo Bills hosted the 5th Annual 50 Yard Finish running race.
The 5K part of the event started at 9am on a course that took runners around the stadium, through the player tunnel and finished at the 50-yard line. After the 5K, it was the kid's turn as they competed in a 'fun mile' that finished at the 50-yard line as well.
The first 1,500 runners received a race shirt, a finisher medal and were able to take part in a postrace celebration and awards ceremony on the field, that featured Bills' mascot, Billy Buffalo and special Bills guests.
Spectators were also allowed in the stadium to cheer on runners. The race was presented by IMPACT Sports Performance. All proceeds benefit the Buffalo Bills Foundation and the Buffalo Sports Commission Amateur Athletics Foundation.
